Roof Meadow Dwellings

Second year project

2017-2018

This project proposes two triangular dwellings bedded under a blanket of native meadow plants. The buildings are situated on a corner plot in an asphalt-dominated urban area. Important was to keep a pedestrian pathway across the plot available, hence why the site is split in two. Between two meadow covered slopes we find the walkway.

All rooms and furniture are integrated in the perimeter of the building. In the rear the interior can be pushed, pulled and folded out in order to assemble all spatial armaments needed throughout the day.

A double glass façade faces the street. A buffer zone between indoors and outdoors is created that perhaps can be used as a slim greenhouse.
